It’s very important that you stay out of trouble and comply with all pre-trial conditions. If you are unsure about what is required of you, ask your pre-trial officer or attorney.

I want to be involved as early as possible. On many occasions, Mashni Law has been able to negotiate lesser charges, criminal summons rather than an arrest warrant, or in the best case scenario avoid a criminal charge altogether.
First and foremost, don’t talk about the case with anyone except for your lawyer. Communications between attorney/client are privileged. Any other communications can and will be used against you.
Second, find an experienced criminal defense attorney who you feel comfortable working with.
At your arraignment, you will plead “Not Guilty” and a new court date will be scheduled. In some instances, I can appear on your behalf to save you the trouble and inconvenience of appearing in court. If you are in custody, I will come prepared to make the best bond argument available to hopefully secure your release.
