Our client was charged with violating an Emergency Protective Order (EPO) when he responded to text messages sent by the alleged victim. After showing the prosecutor the full picture, the prosecutor agreed to dismiss the charges against our client because it was clear that our client was not initiating the contact and the alleged victim was trying to use the criminal system against our client.
