Case Dismissed

The client, who was on federal probation, was served with an Emergency Protective Order. After an extensive hearing in which we presented affidavits and text messages which showed that the alleged victim had only petitioned for the EPO out of anger towards our client and to gain the upper hand in a battle over parental rights, the Judge ruled in favor of our client, finding that there was not sufficient proof to grant a Domestic Violence Order and dismissing the EPO.
