Case Dismissed

Client was charged with Assault 4th Degree (Domestic Violence) after police were called to their residence. After delicate negotiations with the County Attorney and presentation of mitigation evidence (lack of criminal history, the immigration consequences a conviction would carry and support from the alleged victim), the charges were ultimately dismissed after successful completion of a Batter’s Intervention Program (BIP).
